Welcome to The Energy Ahead.

This is your weekly guide to the energy of the days ahead—a reflective, intuitive space to explore the themes, possibilities, and subtle shifts available to you. Each week, I’ll pull a tarot card and unpack its wisdom, weaving it into real-life reflections and practical takeaways to inspire your own journey. Think of it as a portal to deeper curiosity, alignment, and wonder.

It snowed in Charleston last week—a rare and fleeting thing. It wasn’t the kind of snow that blankets the world in soft, fluffy powder. It was more ice than anything else, the kind that crunches underfoot and glimmers sharply in the light.

And yet, it filled me with a sense I find myself chasing often: wonder.

The reflection of it bolstered my house with the best light it’s ever had—bright, crisp, and golden. Everything felt open, fresh, and new. Even the air seemed cleaner, quieter—with nonexistent traffic, a gentleness settled for just a day or two.

Our walks became intentional. Each step had to be deliberate, carefully placed to avoid eating shit (because, obviously, I do not have the appropriate footwear for such conditions).

And I loved it—the slowness, the deliberation, the way every small detail felt sharper and more alive.

There’s something about that sense of wonder—the kind that sneaks up on you in unexpected places—that softens you. It makes you curious, open, willing to see the world a little differently.

This week, the card I pulled was the Page of Cups, and that’s the energy I’m inviting you to hold. Like the snow, it’s an invitation to soften, to wonder, and to allow the unexpected to guide you.
